One of Western Sydney’s newest Nature Reserves, Bartolo is an important ‘Green Corridor’ for native wildlife, like Eastern Grey Kangaroo’s, to move about, find food and shelter. More than this,  Bartolo Nature Reserve is remnant of critically endangered Cumberland Plain Woodland and is home to several threatened species.

Bartolo is in need of some help, with invasive weeds threatening biodiversity at the front and sides of the property. We are looking for volunteers to help us tackle these plants, to improve biodiversity for this valuable wildlife wonderland.

Join with locals and our experienced ecologist for a few hours of practical conservation, and contribute to the restoration of Bartolo Nature Reserve. You’ll be rewarded with a cuppa under the tree top canopy and enjoy a guided tour of this very special site!

This project runs from 9:00 am on select dates, with complimentary transport available to and from Richmond Train Station. Volunteer days finish onsite at 2:30 pm.
