This project is part of an ongoing program to control the invasive weed Scotch Broom.

You will participate in citizen science activities - establishing new quadrats and measuring, recording native plants and weeds. You will also monitor and record treatment results on previously established plots.

Contractors will be delivering the various methods of weed treatment. Methodologies include biological, manual, mechanical.

Plenty of opportunities to see native wildlife and take in the scenery.

Please note: there is no phone reception on site - though there are a few places a short drive away where there is a phone signal.

Sleeping bag and pillow required.

Groceries provided for all meals.

CVA troop carrier and trailer departs Broadmeadow Station approx 5pm Friday. Volunteers welcome to follow in their own vehicle but should have good ground clearance as final section of track can have deep ruts etc.
