Join us as we be work alongside volunteers from Richmond Community Gardens to help establish a Fungi Farm.
This exciting project is a collaboration between a number of organisations and local artists to create a nature play site with education specifically around fungi. We will be planting the fungi farm with native plants to extend an existing berm and also with fruit trees that will be espaliered in the garden beds to provide cover, encouraging the growth of mushrooms and other fungi.
We'll be there from 9:30am-12:30pm. Bring gloves, a water bottle and wear clothing suitable for the weather. We provide all tools, a friendly team leader and morning tea.
Parking is at the cul de sac at the end of Evelyn Couzins Ave.
We'd love to see you there, so please register below to let us know that you'll be joining us. Contact Hamish Fairbairn (021 399 040, email@example.com) with any questions.
