Ash Island was once one of a number of islands and mudflats found in the Hunter River estuary near Hexham. Today it is part of the larger island known as Kooragang Island. Ash Island is approximately 15 minutes from Newcastle, we will be undertaking activites to help maintain habitat for native flora, fauna and migratory shorebirds.
Come along and meet like minded people while enjoying the great outdoors!
Bring morning tea and lunch, drink/bottle.
Pick up is from Broadmeadow train station at 8am. Returning no later than 4pm.
