This day is for Apple staff only. Thank you for your consideration and understanding.
In recent years, three A-Class Reserves have been established at Pelican Point, in Crawley, Milyu, adjacent to the Kwinana Freeway in South Perth and Alfred Cove, in Melville. These three reserves provide sanctuary for a large variety of water birds, including endangered species. They have world significance as a staging point for trans-equatorial migratory birds from as far as the Arctic Circle. The Swan Estuary Reserves Action Group (SERAG) facilitates restoration projects in these reserves through the contribution of volunteer work and the mobilization of other community resources to improve and preserve ecosystem health in these areas.
Apple volunteers on this project will be able to assist SERAG with rehabilitating the degraded foreshore by removing noxious weeds and replacing them with native seedlings.
