Bradleys Head is home to beautiful Sydney sandstone woodland and it commands spectacular views of beautiful Sydney Harbour. The National Park also contains some of the best examples of coastal vegetation communities which were once all around the harbour and are home to several threatened species including the red-crowned toadlet. The red-crowned toadlet is a species of frog that is only found within the Sydney region. It is threatened by activities such as habitat loss, pollution and the invasion of native habitat by exotic weeds. This project focuses on hands-on bush re-generation at Bradleys Head, where we will be improving the toadlets native Sydney sandstone woodland habitat by removing invasive weed species. You will also have the unique opportunity to undertake some citizen science alongside the National Parks Association to look at the behaviours of water dragons and how they’re adapting to urbanisation. The data you collect will hopefully lead to better informed decisions on how we  can successfully live side-by-side with fauna in our cities.
