The Carnaby’s Cockatoo needs your help! Come and join Conservation Volunteers as we take part in this years’ GREAT COCKY COUNT.
BirdLife Australia has been working with local communities, landholders and land managers to secure the protection and conservation of Carnaby's Black-Cockatoo and their critical habitat. Unlike other less mobile bird species, Carnabys is widespread and its range covers many different land tenures and vegetation types.
We will be surveying a known roosting site at Murdoch University for half an hour before and after sunset.
Places are limited, so for more information and to join in on this great experience, contact our officie on 08 9335 2777 or pertrh@cva.org.au
