Located approximately 25 kilometres south of Brisbane's CB, Daisy Hill Koala bushland is a core koala habitat area in South East Queensland. At Daisy Hill, Conservation Volunteers Australia works cooperatively with the Queensland Government to restore and monitor koala habitat. Part of the larger Bushland is Daisy Hill Conservation Park, a significant 571 ha site which is comprised of open eucalypt and casuarina forest, and provides important linking habitat for threatened species, inlcuding the koala and glossey black cockatoo.

CVA works to establish habitat, remove invasive plants that obstruct animal movement and damage native vegetation and identify plants requiring protection. They key habitat restoration activities includeweed removal, particularly from koala habitat trees to ease koala access and mobility, tree planting to increase koala habitat connectivity and general maintenance of existing planted trees.
