A weekend of bush regeneration, camping out and star gazing in Cattai and Scheyville National Parks!

The Mitchell Park picnic area in Cattai NP is a great place to pause for a bite and take in the bushland scenery – particularly after working up a sweat on one of the park’s great walking tracks. Come along and help us restore the bushland in Mitchell Park on Saturday. We'll be tackling vines and woody weeds along the bank of Cattai Creek. We'll enjoy a long lunch with expert speakers on the local environment and then set off on a bushwalk and check out the old heritage buildings in Catta NP before setting up camp. We'll be treated t oa delicious dinner and venture out on a wildlife spotlighting tour before bed.

On Sunday enjoy bird watching before an early breakfast, then pull down camp and head off to meet and help out a local volunteer team controlling Afican olive in Scheyville NP.We'll also learn about psyllids and their impact on the Cumberland Plain Woodland.
