AGL team at Melbourne Foreshore - AGL EMPLOYEES ONLY

The spectacular foreshore areas within the City of Port Phillip extend for 11.16 kilometres from Port Melbourne, through St Kilda and to Elwood. Although they are in highly urbanised environment, they make a substantial contribution to the biodiversity within the City of Port Phillip and remains as one of the important habitats for a range of coastal fauna species. More than 50 bird species have been recorded in the foreshore area which includes Chestnut Teal, Pacific Black Duck, Rainbow Lorikeet and Crimson Rosellas.

The activities for the day will be based around Elwood and Point Ormond, and will consist of planting, watering of plants, litter collection and hand weeding.
