Jawbone Flora and Fauna Reserve is situated 8 km from the heart of Melbourne and adjacent to Williamstown, the first permanent settlement in Port Phillip Bay. The reserve consists of open grasslands, two wetland lakes, the saltmarsh and mangrove, Wader Beach and the Kororoit Creek. All the areas of the reserve function as important habitats for more than 120 species of birds and wildlife such as swans, herons, spoonbills and pelicans so it is very important that we make sure their habitats are healthy and full of diversity.

Join us for a fun litter pick-up session and learn about how this reserve has changed from a highly degraded site to an ecological haven full of native birds!
