During this project, Conservation Volunteers Australia will work in a partnership with the Queensland Trust for Nature volunteers to restore and monitor koala and brush-tailed rock-wallaby habitat on private land in Ipswich and Scenic Rim Local Governments areas. The main objectives of this project are to restore core habitat through removing weeds and planting trees to improve access to food trees and allow for increased fauna movement across the landscape, and to conduct a wildlife and pest survey, assessment and management project to reduce the threat of dogs, foxes and cats.
