NRMA Staff day Hermitage Foreshore Restoration - Sydney Harbour National Park

Join our conservation teams at beautiful Sydney Harbour National Park to undertake valuable works to restore the Hermitage Foreshore. The works will be occuring along the Hermitage Foreshore track which is one of Sydney's greatest coastal walks stretching 1.7km in length. Through this area you will be able to see spectacular harbour views, remnant heaths, woodland, small patches of rainforest, craggy cliffs and secluded coves. The area is very degraded due to the establishment of invasive species. We have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the restoration of this area. 

Activities on the day will include some of the following: removal invasive weeds, removing refuse, revegetating and maintaining areas degraded by storm water and disturbance.

PICKUP:

8.00am Outside Countrylink terminal entrance, Central Stn near taxi rank.

9.00am Nielson Park Kiosk in front of Shark Beach. If you are driving, we recommend parking along Greycliffe Avenue.

FINISH: 

3.00pm at the project site. At 3:00pm you will depart from the site.

Please wear sturdy shoes/boots, long pants, and long sleeve shirts. Hats, sunscreen, and water are a must.
