This beautiful site along the River Torrens was impacted by the recent flooding events and we will assist to restore this area, while also undertaking a variety of maintenance activities in this popular community space.
Gilbert Pool contains a large variety of native vegetation, resulting in this area being an important showcase for local fauna, especially bird species. The flooding events covered many of these natives in debris (both natural and man-made) and we will focus on clearing these areas to allow the natives to continue to flourish. On-going site maintenance including minimal impact weeding and general care will also be undertaken to revitalise this area for the community to once again enjoy.
