This is a long-term program that will see development of a community hub in Clarendon Vale. The project is focused on developing a community garden space that can be accessed and utilised by various community members and groups. Activities over the program will include but are not limited to; building perimeter fencing, a pizza oven, gabion walls, seating, raised garden beds, paths and walkways and a pergola. The project will include installing irrigation, a water tank, a chess board and chess box, compost bays, 4-5 gates and edging on raised garden beds. Planting of native species and fruit trees will also be included in this project. Training will be offered for 6-8 local volunteers (ask specifically about training if you are interested).
