Ready for a great experience and awesome personal challenge?
We invite you to join a team of volunteers to help the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service to protect the beautiful, natural Australian environment at Mount Blandy. Our efforts will protect the biodiversity in the Mount Blandy Regional Park, and you'll learn some important conservation techniques!
Register your interest early to secure your spot in this week-long project. The team will camp at Mount Blandy for the duration of the project, and equipment, food and transport will be provided by Conservation Volunteers Australia. You will need to bring your own sleeping bag.
This project will involve some hard work, on uneven ground, in densely vegetated areas. You'll need to bring long pants, a long sleeve shirt, enclosed shoes (boots are great!) a hat and sunglasses. Don't forget a sleeping bag for camping.
Can't wait to see you there!

Conservation Volunteers Australia is Australasia's leading conservation volunteer organisation, founded in 1982. We offer conservation programs across Australia which enable volunteers to protect, preserve and restore the Australian environment. Projects take place in urban, regional and remote areas, and include tree planting, seed collection, weed control, flora and fauna surveys, building tracks and trails, fencing, and heritage restoration. See below for details of one of our conservation projects, or search for projects near you.
