Hollis Park is situated in South Fremantle between South Beach and Hampton Road and has been a multi-use site for a number of years. Sick of seeing a ‘post-apocalyptic’ landscape local residents starting planting the large area. The Friends of Hollis Park now hold regular planting, weeding and mulching days to improve the biodiversity of the site and to bring back some of the local native animals.
Over October we will be helping the Friends of Hollis Park on weekend project days to create and widen limestone tracks, assist with the green stock maintenance of last year’s planting efforts and to remove the invasive Victorian Tea Tree.
