Join Conservation Volunteers for a week away volunteering. Crookshanks is a working farm nestled in the foothills of the spectacular Snowy Mountains. If you are the kind of person that wants to get active in the outdoors, and gain skills and experience in a wide range of practical conservation activities – then this opportunity is perfect for you!
Conservation Volunteers will undertake a range of conservation tasks, including weed control, pest management, fence removal and others. These activities will promote biodiversity on the property, and consequently increase connectivity in the landscape for wildlife.
Accommodation for the week will be in the farm cottage. There will be plenty of time to relax and enjoy the bush surrounds after a busy day volunteering. Meals will be cooked together in the evening, with shared accommodation.
This is a wonderful opportunity that is not to be missed! Places are limited on this expedition – so if it sounds like something you’re interested in, please get in touch. To participate, either email Canberra@cva.org.au or Ph. 6247 7770 for more information.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
