Come join Conservation Volunteers as we continue our restoration of Bullock Creek.
Located in Marong, just east of Bendigo, Bullock Creek is one of the many tributaries that eventually feeds into the Loddon River. At one stage infested with olive trees, broom and other weeds, Conservation Volunteers have been working to help clean up and restore this creek to its natural form.
Volunteers will be involved with helping to remove infestations of woody weeds, including olives trees and cape broom. The removal of these weeds will then open the way for us to continue our planting of native species later on in the year. So come along and help us continue to restore this beautiful steamside area.
