City of Sydney and Conservation Volunteers Australia have partnered to provide local residents with the opportunity to assist with environmental restoration works in and around the park and its wetland sites. This will be a great way to keep active, improve your health and meet like-minded people whilst helping the environment.
Volunteers will participate in weeding and revegetation activities that will not only enhance the beauty of the park but provide valuable habitat for the local wildlife such as small birds and reptiles.
Park visitor and monthly bird surveys will be conducted to gather useful information to assist in the management of the park and to track the wildlife population trends.
Regular guided walks and information sessions/ wildlife workshops throughout the year.
