Surf Coast and Inland Plains Network (SCIPN) is a Landcare Network operating along the Surf Coast from Barwon Heads to Anglesea and within the inland plains between Connewarre and Lake Modewarre
“Bush to Beach Biolink” Program aims to protect, enhance and link remnant native vegetation between the Greater Otway National Park and the Ramsar-listed Lake Connewarre Wetlands. This will be done through diverse plantings between remnant vegetation, to continue to link, protect and enhance important habitat and bring SCIPN’s vision of a connected and resilient landscape much closer to fruition.
We will provide transport from South Geelong, departing at 8.15am and returning around 4pm.
Volunteers need to bring their lunch and a bottle of water, as well as wear long pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and boots or sturdy shoes. It is also recommended that volunteers bring and use a broad-brimmed hat, sun-screen (30+) and insect repellent.
