Deep Creek Conservation Park is known for its spectacular walks, breath-taking views, diverse natural habitats and abundant wildlife. Travel with CVA to the southern coast of the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula for a 5-day/4-night project, to assist National Park Rangers with important maintenance of the walking tracks within the park.

The Park is a protected area consisting of about 45 square kilometres of natural Australian bush land located on the southern coast of Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia, 11 kilometres east of Cape Jervis.

The park is the largest remaining block of wildlife habitat on the Fleurieu Peninsula and is home to a variety of native Australian wildlife.

Look out for western grey kangaroos, short-beaked echidnas or some beautiful bird species that can easily be heard or spotted when walking in the park.

The walking trails provide spectacular views of the Backstairs Passage, Kangaroo Island and the rugged Deep Creek valley.  This project will have volunteers experiencing all of this whilst assisting the Rangers with their trail maintenance. Suitable for the adventurous and fit, you may be walking several km's each day as you trim the overhanging vegetation on the tracks.

You'll need to be fit with no back/knee/ankle issues to participate on this project.  Includes accommodation, meals and all transport from Adelaide.
