In November 2015 the Pinery Bushfire ripped through the region just north of Adelaide, scorching more than 85,000 hectares. 91 homes were destroyed and 2 lives were lost in the blaze, leaving communities devastated and frightened.
CVA volunteers are helping the community recover from this massive fire. Please join us in assisting in Pinery on a Tuesday. The property we are going to on this day was not directly impacted by fire, but the owners were traumatised by the fire and are keen to clean up their yard in event of future fires. You wll be helping install gutter guard, and with general clean up and tidying of yard.
Enjoy a pleasant drive through northern Adelaide country and let people in Pinery know that they are supported.
