Hyde Park, Denman is a picturesque reserve with its own isolated wetland. During heacy rains this wetland openly flows into the Hunter River and is an important water storage and filtration structure for the Hunter River Catchment. Come and help maintain and restore the edges of the wetland with a team of like minded people to have a fun and social experience while makinga real practical contribution to Denman, Muswellbrook Shire and the Hunter River. You will be lead by an environmental professional and will be taught proper conservation and land management skills, techniques and practices. This is perfect for all ages and backgrounds, especially those wanting to pursue employment in the environmental or agricultural industries.
