The Hunter Wetlands area is home to some of the most significant wetlands in the state including Ramsar sites and regionally significant river bank zones.  Wetlands are known as Mother Earth's kidneys because they act as  water filters and help to rid the system of impurities prior to entering the water ways.  Join the crew and undertake important activities such as weed removal and planting to rehabiltate these important  wetlands.
