Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about the large owls that live in Gippsland's forests, including the threatened Powerful Owl, Sooty Owl, Masked Owl and Barking Owl. They will assist researchers in surveying for these important predators, using a megaphone to project their calls and listen for a response, and then spotlighting for the owls and their important prey species. End time will be approximately 23:00pm (not 4pm as indicated on parts of the website). If you cannot book onto the project on the day it is running, plesae email GIPPSLAND@CVA.ORG.AU.

Survey sites will vary for each date; 18th April - Mirboo North; 2nd May - Tyers; 16th May - Mirboo North; 30th May - Morwell/Traralgon South.
