Join Conservation Volunteers and One Tree Planted as we celebrate Earth Day with a day of invasive weed control at Sanders Reserve in Paremoremo.
Nestled along the upper reaches of the Waitemata Harbour in Paremoremo lies Sanders Reserve. It’s a fantastic 16.5ha multi-use recreation area with great views of the Harbour.
A local community group, Sustainable Paremoremo have been working hard on the restoration of this area over the past few years by planting over 20,000 native trees. These trees need some attention to ensure their survival. CVNZ have partnered with this small volunteer group with the aim of helping maintain the area and planting a further 10,000 trees here each winter.
We'd love to have your help. Come and enjoy the amazing views and at the same time give the young plants a helping hand to get established.
