Come and join the team as they help manage a beautiful catchment area called Downfall Creek in the North of Brisbane by eliminating common weeds in the area. Works will aid in the prevention of invasive weed species spreading downstream and to neighbouring properties. The removal of these species will enhance native regrowth and in turn, increase native wildlife populations. You will have the opportunity to view environmental and cultural displays, learn about the reserve's flora and fauna, and discover the importance of preserving the natural areas of our environment. So come along, make some great new friends, learn new skills and help conserve Australia’s beautiful environment!
