Conservation Volunteers is hosting the annual Clean Up Day Challenge. Our CVA Community Team will be taking on our Business Team to clean the mangroves of Sydney Olympic Park. The Badu Mangroves is a southern tributary of Parramatta River in Sydney Olympic park and is an important habitat area for migratory shorebirds and breeding white-bellied sea eagles.
Teams will be challenged to collect as much rubbish as they can in a two hour period, competing against each other to see who will be crowned champion. Teams will have the opportunity to gain extra points for finding mysterious, unusual or rare items.
We will provide everything you need including a BBQ lunch.
Show how well you can clean up, this Clean Up Day!
9.30 am: Meet either at Wentworth Common car park (if driving) or at the Sydney Olympic Park Train Station, Park St (we recommend using the train). Transport will be provided to the site from both these locations. Wentworth Common Car Park is located at Marjorie Jackson Parkway- South Side.
Finish time: 2:00 pm
