Conservation volunteers will be heading out to Cornwall Park this week in partnership with Cornwall Park Trust Board.

Donated to the people of Auckland by Sir John Logan Campbell, Cornwall Park is known for its large open spaces, landscape design and beautiful mature trees. It is centred on a volcanic cone, Maungakiekie (One Tree Hill), with many interesting geological features. A pre-European Maori fortification (pa) was built on the cone, many features of which can still be seen.
