Connecting People to Parks

Every week Conservation Volunteers are out and about at different parks around Auckland.

It’s part of an initiative between Conservation Volunteers New Zealand and the Auckland Council to help bring biodiversity back to our central parks and to give people who are interested in conservation a chance to get involved.

Come join our team at Johnson Reserve in Glenn Innes. Activities may include planting, plant releasing, mulching and water testing. Monitoring water quality can contribute to improving streams for fish and assessing how a stream responds to changes such as increased riparian planting, weed removal or removal of rubbish and other pollutants.

Join us and help out your local parks, we'd love to have your help.
