Every year Australia wide, hundreds of thousands of Australians get stuck in and Clean Up their local environment by collecting and removing rubbish.  Join us on a day trip to Brookfield Conservation Park and help clean up the roadside rubbish along the Park.

Brookfield is part of the KESAB Program and this is a great opportunity to enjoy a trip away from the city and see part of this this beautiful Mallee remnant, set aside for the Southern Hairy-nosed Wombat and other native wildlife and plants.  On this project, volunteers will assist with the collection of rubbish along the boundary of the Park.  Cleaning up the park edges helps to remove unsightly rubbish pollution and objects that, while seemingly harmless to people, can harm wildlife. Your help will be appreciated by the little creatures.

Depart Adelaide 8:30am and return 2.30pm

If you are in the Barossa or Murrayland areas you may like to meet us at the site at 10.30 am - meet at the roadside picnic area 1km west of the Brookfield Conservation park entrance.

Please wear long trousers and a long sleeved shirt to protect you from sun and scratches while collecting.

Bring a large water bottle and your lunch to enjoy on your day out.  Those travelling with CVA from Adelaide will have the opportunity to visit the Truro Bakery on the way.
