Beautifying Bendigo's Box Ironbark Forests
Come and visit the delightful regional city of Bendigo in the heart of the Goldfields in Central Victoria.
Bendigo is known as a city within a forest due to being surounded by remnant Box-Ironbark Forests, highly modified though the gold rush and quartz mining era.
Our Box-Ironbark Forests have regrown and are home to a large variety of native animals, birds and are well known for their seasonal displays of wildflowers and orchids.
As part of the Conservation Volunteers team on this project your tasks will involve treating and removing environmental weeds, habitat restoration and litter removal.
Volunteering on this weekend project is great way to get out in the freshair in our great outdoors and help conserve our our local bushland.
To get involved and have a great day out please contact our Bendigo Office on 0354440777
